In Monahans, TX
Nowhere else we serve has sand like Monahans. If your vehicle spends time near the Sandhills, vacuuming the carpet isn't going to cut it — that sand needs extraction.
What we're up
against here.
Monahans has a problem the rest of the Basin doesn't: actual dune sand. Anyone who's taken kids out to Monahans Sandhills State Park knows it ends up everywhere — in the carpet backing, under the seat rails, in the seat-belt retractors, in the spare tyre well. It's also abrasive in a way that fine caliche dust isn't, which makes it genuinely bad news if it gets tracked across paint or ground into carpet fibres.
Standard vacuuming pulls the top layer and leaves the rest. Hot-water extraction is what actually removes it, and it's included in every interior and full detail we do. On the outside, the same abrasiveness is the argument for a coating and a proper hand wash — sand that sits on an unprotected panel and then gets wiped is how you put scratches in a finish.
Sand, not just dust
Dune sand is coarse and abrasive. It hides in carpet backing and seat rails where a vacuum won't reach it.
Extraction included
Every interior and full detail uses hot-water extraction, the only thing that genuinely removes embedded sand.
Hand wash only
Never wipe sand off dry paint. We flood, lift and dry it — the opposite of what a tunnel wash does.

Booking In Monahans
We took the truck to the Sandhills. Can you get the sand out?
Yes — that's a routine job for us. Hot-water extraction on the carpets and upholstery, plus brushes and air on the seat rails, belt slots and trim gaps where sand collects. Tell us how bad it is when you book so we allow the time.
Is there a travel fee to Monahans?
Possibly a small one, depending on the day and the booking. We quote it upfront when you schedule so there are no surprises.
Should I get a coating if I drive out to the dunes?
It's a strong case for one. A ceramic coating won't stop sand hitting the paint, but it makes it release in a rinse instead of needing to be wiped — and wiping abrasive sand is exactly how paint gets scratched.
